What Color Is the Wind?

What Color is the Wind?

What Color Is the Wind?

“It can’t be a hardcover Heidi. The point is you put your fingers in the painting on the book and your FLIP the pages and you make the WIND OF THE BOOK.” said Claudia Bedrock, owner of Enchanted Lion Publisher.

So close your eyes and let the story begins…..

If you think this book simply lays its focus on the answer of “What is the wind?” it will be a miss.

Let’s start a game:

Close your eyes, imaging the moment you were blind. How do you tell color of the wind?

A blind child questions all he encounters––a dog, wolf, elephant, mountain, bird, stream, and tree––about the color of the wind. Each responds differently, with a shape, color, smell, texture, or idea. Each page displays a visual and tactile palette of cutouts, textures, colors. It is a sensory experience that makes the invisible experiential, ending with the wind as the pages fly.

In reality, we often gave our answer according to personal experience just like what the answers from those characters appeared in the book.
